The whole thing runs on gap moe — that contrast between how someone appears and who they actually are — and it nails the tone without getting too saccharine. Brain's Base is handling the animation, with character designs by Naoki Aisaka that really sell the comedic beats. There's also some Toradora energy in how it peels back first impressions to find something genuine underneath. It's the kind of show that just puts you in a good mood.
