YouTuNya 3rd Season
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Despite running a YouTube channel that nobody watches, an optimistic feline named Nya is the heart of YouTuNya, and somehow it works. Now in its third season, this short-form comedy follows Nya, an endlessly optimistic feline content creator whose videos consistently flop while her rival Tomoneko rakes in subscribers effortlessly. Every episode, Nya hatches some new scheme to go viral — trend-chasing, collab attempts, thumbnail optimization — and every episode, things go sideways in the most adorable way possible. There's also Tsuyoneko, who runs a martial arts channel and takes everything way too seriously, which is inherently funny when the character is a cat. Each episode clocks in at just a few minutes, so the whole 10-episode season is something you can knock out during a lunch break. The humor lands because it's weirdly accurate about internet culture — the algorithm anxiety, the desperate engagement tactics, the comparison spiral — just filtered through cats living in a cozy little neighborhood. It's got that same gentle, low-stakes energy you'd find in Koupen-chan or Nyaaaanvy, where nothing bad really happens but the characters are charming enough that you keep watching anyway. If you liked SHIBUYA♡HACHI or any of those short-form animal comedies, this is right in that lane. It's not trying to be anything more than a cute, funny time, and that's kind of the point.
