Yokujou Bazooka The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Bundled together on one release, two OVA stories share a common thread — guys stumbling into situations way over their heads. First up, Takaya finds a magic mirror that shows him whatever scene he wants — and lets him reach into those reflections. He uses it to mess with his female classmates, including his childhood friend Ayano, which goes about as well as you'd expect. Second story follows Shouta, a struggling student being tutored by Konatsu, a genius who can't help rubbing his face in how much smarter she is. Shouta gets fed up and hands her a certain DVD. The next session gets complicated. Both stories lean into that playful, mischievous energy — nobody is particularly serious here, and the tone stays light throughout. It's adapted from Taropun's manga, and the animation from Office TakeOut does a decent job capturing the comedic rhythm of the source material, giving the characters some personality beyond just the premise. If you've watched Resort Boin and appreciated that kind of easygoing setup-and-payoff structure, this fits that same vibe. Fans of Eroge H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai who like their adult content wrapped in light comedy will probably find something to enjoy here too. At a single episode runtime, it doesn't overstay its welcome. Two self-contained stories, both keeping things playful rather than heavy. Exactly what it is, nothing more.
