📖 SYNOPSIS

XPICE is an animated short set in Kokyo, a city populated by diverse individuals and targeted by the mysterious Zerogram. The story centers on the superhero duo Red Pepper and Wasabi, members of the XPICE league. Red Pepper uses fiery punches to combat the villains, while Wasabi provides healing support. Despite their success, Wasabi feels unfulfilled, questioning her role as a hero. The narrative explores themes of courage, teamwork, and self-discovery. When an emergency alert signals danger for Red Pepper, Wasabi must overcome her doubts and find the strength to rise to the occasion, ultimately discovering what it truly means to be a hero. The short is set to the song "Spice" by the all-female rock band SCANDAL.
