馃摉 SYNOPSIS
The second season of Wu Geng Ji unfolds in ancient China during the Shang dynasty. Emperor Shou, rejecting the authority of the Gods, leads his people in open rebellion. His defiance culminates in a battle against the celestial beings, specifically Tian Kui, which ends in the emperor's defeat. The gods, observing from above, show only amusement. Tian, a greater god, ultimately kills Emperor Shou, shattering his Immortal Phoenix armor.
Following the emperor's death, Wu Geng awakens in the body of Ah Gou. He finds himself with a new identity and a wife, Bai Cai. The series explores themes of rebellion, divine power, and the struggle for survival in a world dominated by the gods. The story sets the stage for Wu Geng's journey as he navigates his new life and the consequences of his father's defiance.
