📖 SYNOPSIS
As a level 99 chef stuck in one of the strongest guilds in the land, Dennis has never had anyone care about his cooking. When he gets kicked out of the Silver Wings Battalion, it's honestly the best thing that could have happened to him — now he can finally open the restaurant he's always wanted. Things get more complicated when he finds Atelier, a young noblewoman who's been sold into slavery, and decides to free her and bring her on as a server. From there, the restaurant starts attracting other people who've been cast aside — an exiled knight, an arrogant mage, an overworked sage — and it quietly becomes this gathering place for misfits who didn't have anywhere else to go. The core of the show is really about food as a way to heal people, and it's more interested in character moments around a dinner table than big fantasy battles. Dennis's cooking scenes are genuinely detailed and satisfying to watch. If you liked Restaurant to Another World or Isekai Izakaya for their cozy fantasy-meets-food vibes, this hits a similar spot but leans harder into the found-family angle. There are also shades of Delicious in Dungeon in how seriously it takes its culinary worldbuilding. It's a 12-episode TV series from OLM that aired in 2025, and the pacing is relaxed without dragging. A good pick if you want something warm and low-stakes to wind down with.
