Wanmei Shijie Movie: Jiu Jie Fen Tian
Oshimeter
Synopsis
An age of gods and cultivation isn't ending gracefully — it's ending in catastrophe. A wave of darkness is swallowing everything, and the people who lived through it didn't survive — except one guy figured out how to cheat. Shi Hao, known as the Desolate Emperor, uses a drop of his own true blood to create a clone and sends it backward through time to the era before everything went wrong. His goal: find the cure for the darkness before it wipes out everyone he couldn't save the first time around. Guiding the resistance is the Willow God, an ancestral spirit rallying people toward something resembling hope in a world that's running out of it. This ONA, based on the Perfect World web novel, leans hard into its cultivation roots — the power system is layered, the fights are genuinely well-animated in 3D by Foch Film, and the stakes feel earned because you're watching a civilization's last stand, not just another tournament arc. The tone is heavy and action-packed, with a soundtrack that actually pulls its weight during the big moments. If you liked the world-building in Tales of Demons and Gods or the escalating power dynamics in Martial Universe, this hits a similar nerve but with a time-travel angle that adds real tension. Fans of Douluo Dalu who want something darker and more apocalyptic should keep this on their radar for 2026.
