Synopsis
Marco Polo earns his keep hunting bounties, so when he picks up a lost mechanical companion called Luban No. 7, what starts as a simple job turns into something way more complicated. Luban No. 7 got separated from its creator, Master Luban, and hidden inside it is the Tuling Treasure Box — an artifact that a lot of dangerous people want their hands on. Marco figures he'll tag along to reunite Luban with its creator's family, grab the treasure box, and call it a day. Naturally, things go sideways fast. Their journey drags them from the Cloud Desert into an underground city beneath Chang'an, and somewhere along the way a bounty hunter and a little machine end up actually caring about each other. The world here is where steampunk gadgets sit next to traditional fantasy landscapes, and Cloud Art builds out the Kingdom of Kings setting with real variety — desert wastelands, hidden cities, political conspiracies layered underneath. The dynamic between Marco and Luban No. 7 gives it a buddy-adventure feel where the emotional core sneaks up on you between the action sequences. If you liked the historical-fantasy mashup vibe of Soul Buster or the way Origami Warriors blends Chinese lore with inventive action, this ONA hits a similar lane but leans harder into world-building and the relationship between its leads. Based on the Honor of Kings game, coming 2026 from Cloud Art. Worth keeping on your radar if you're into fantasy adventures with some mechanical flair.
