📖 SYNOPSIS
In rural Canada, Charlotte, a young girl, lives a simple life on a farm. On her twelfth birthday, her father reveals a shocking truth: her mother, whom she believed to be dead, is alive and residing in Paris, with plans to return home. Initially upset by this revelation, Charlotte begins to adjust to the idea of her mother's arrival. However, tragedy strikes when her father unexpectedly passes away. Now orphaned, Charlotte faces numerous challenges. She discovers her father belonged to a noble family, and her grandfather wants her to return to them. Complicating matters, she barely knows her mother. Furthermore, a local landowner is attempting to seize control of her father's farm, adding to Charlotte's mounting difficulties.
