Vampire

Synopsis
Sent to work at a secluded mansion full of vampires, Yuuto Akiyama is no ordinary butler — he brings more than just white gloves to the job, carrying ancient powers that make him anything but ordinary help. Not exactly a normal job posting. The two-episode OVA follows him as he settles into his new role serving a household of supernatural women, each with her own personality and needs, while the mansion itself seems to be hiding something beneath its gothic surface. The premise has this slow-burn mystery layered under everything — why this house, why Yuuto specifically, and what exactly are these vampires after beyond the obvious. The atmosphere leans heavily into that shadowy, candlelit mansion aesthetic, and the soundtrack does a decent job selling the tension between the mysterious and the sensual. If you enjoyed the brooding vampire dynamics in Diabolik Lovers or the supernatural household setup in Rosario + Vampire, this hits a similar note, just in a much more compact format. Being an original work from Y.O.U.C, it is not adapting existing source material, so the story goes wherever it wants without obligations to a manga fanbase. At only two episodes, it is a short commitment, and the power dynamics between Yuuto and the vampire family carry enough intrigue to make that runtime feel purposeful rather than rushed. Worth a look if the vampire-butler setup sounds interesting to you.
