📖 SYNOPSIS
The residents of Tomobiki receive invitations to Ataru's wedding, much to Lum's dismay, as she is not the bride. It turns out Ataru played "Shadow Tag" with a young alien princess named Elle eleven years prior, and on her planet, this game signifies a marriage proposal. Elle's emissary arrives to arrange the wedding, but Lum is furious. A force-field protects Ataru from her electric attacks.
Lum's friend Benten suggests a preemptive wedding to prevent Ataru's marriage to Elle. They then abduct Ataru and all the wedding guests, setting the stage for a chaotic, shotgun wedding. The film focuses on the ensuing conflict between Lum and Elle, and Ataru's predicament as he is caught between two alien princesses. The central theme revolves around love, jealousy, and the lengths people will go to for affection.
