馃摉 SYNOPSIS
"The Westward: Goodbye Wu Kong" explores the events preceding the classic "Journey to the West." The story centers on the relationship between Su Yi, a princess from the heavenly realm, and Sun Wukong, who is initially a mortal. Their friendship blossoms into love, but Wukong is wrongly labeled a demon and subsequently imprisoned. For three centuries, the god Rulai guides Wukong, teaching him about justice. Later, Wukong is tasked with protecting the Longevity Monk and embarking on a perilous journey to the other side of the world to obtain the fire of creation, hoping to benefit the world. This quest is fraught with challenges, and upon their return, a hidden conspiracy begins to unravel, rewriting the destinies of the master and his disciples.
