The Rising of the Shield Hero Arc Review

I really enjoyed this series a lot, and it left a strong impression on me overall. That said, I have to admit that some aspects of it were pretty frustrating—especially when it comes to the characters. Aside from those who are closely aligned with or supportive of the main character, many of the others felt incredibly irrational at times, to the point where their decisions didn’t always make sense. It often came across as forced conflict rather than natural character behavior, which could be a bit grating while watching.

On a more positive note, the animation quality was consistently great, and the visuals were definitely one of the show’s strongest points. The story itself was also quite compelling, with interesting ideas and a narrative that kept me invested from beginning to end.

I rate this series a 7/10.
If you hate injustice, you should skip this. Else, this is a great series.
