Synopsis

Every onmyouji art Japan has to offer — shikigami, spiritual barriers, the whole deal — Haruyoshi Kuga has mastered them all. His reward for being the best? Getting betrayed and killed by the people around him. With his dying breath, he casts a reincarnation spell, swearing to play things smarter next time. He wakes up as Seika Lamprogue, the illegitimate son of a noble family in a Western fantasy world where magic is everything. Problem is, his onmyouji arts don't register as magic here, so his family writes him off as useless. Which, honestly, suits him fine. Seika's whole thing this time around is keeping a low profile and not painting a target on his back. He's got summoning, spiritual manipulation, and centuries of combat knowledge, but he'd rather people underestimate him than end up dead again. The tension comes from watching him navigate a world that runs on a completely different power system while hiding what he can actually do. It's a 13-episode TV series from Studio Blanc., and the blend of traditional Japanese spiritual arts dropped into a European-style fantasy setting gives it a flavor most isekai don't have. If you liked The World's Finest Assassin for its calculated protagonist reborn into nobility, or Mushoku Tensei for the second-chance-at-life angle, this scratches a similar itch. It's closer to Wise Man's Grandchild in terms of weight — not trying to reinvent the genre, but the onmyouji twist keeps it from feeling like just another power fantasy.

It's a pretty wild finale, not gonna lie. On one hand, it's satisfying to finally see Seika go all out and show what he's really capable of. The action is pretty hype, and you can feel the desperation when he's trying to save Amu. But on the other hand? It feels a bit rushed.
This episode was satisfying as hell. The demons spent the whole season building themselves up and talking big, only to get absolutely wrecked the moment they faced Seika. The buildup was done really well, It's a solid finale that pays off the season's setup. Seika goes all out!
This episode feels like it's setting things up for bigger confrontations down the line. The future sight ability is pretty overpowered knowing attacks before they happen makes things almost too easy. But it's fun watching Seika casually handle threats that would wreck most people
