The Lost Treasures
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Briar and Bramble, two bear brothers living their best life in a forest, get a rude awakening when a lumberjack shows up with an axe and zero respect for nature. That's the setup for Xiong Chumo: Shenqi Baowu, the latest 52-episode TV series in the long-running Boonie Bears franchise from Fantawild Animation. Briar and Bramble are anthropomorphic bears who call Pine Tree Mountain home, and Logger Vick is the stubborn woodsman determined to chop it all down. What follows is an ongoing tug-of-war where the bears use increasingly creative schemes to protect their forest, and Vick keeps coming back for more punishment. The 3D CG animation gives the whole thing a vibrant, almost toy-like quality that makes the slapstick land really well. It's clearly aimed at kids, but there's a Tom-and-Jerry energy to the rivalry that keeps it entertaining even if you're just watching alongside younger siblings or cousins. The man-vs-nature angle is simple but effective — you genuinely root for these bears. If you've seen Boonie Bears: Monster Plan or Boonie Bears: The Wild Life and enjoyed the dynamic between these characters, this is more of what works, with a treasure-hunting adventure thread woven through. Fans of Boonie Bears: Shrunk will recognize the humor and heart. It's comfort viewing — low stakes, good vibes, and bears outsmarting a guy with a hard hat.
