Synopsis
Meet Zhang Zha — a delivery boy. That's it. No secret bloodline, no hidden talent — just a guy trying to drop off packages. Then he walks into the wrong house, and the dead start pouring out. In this world, when people die, they can come back as 'ghouls' that cross over into the living realm through doorways, and Zhang Zha just kicked one wide open. Now every faction in the modern Jianghu — think a hidden martial arts underworld operating in plain sight — wants a piece of what's happening, and he's stuck right in the middle of it with a mysterious scroll he barely understands. The vibe here is dark and tense, closer to horror-tinged action than your standard martial arts fare. Lychee Time Media built out the haunted settings with genuinely atmospheric detail, and the power system layers traditional martial arts techniques with supernatural ghoul abilities in ways that feel earned rather than arbitrary. The soundtrack leans into the eerie side, which helps sell the tension during the quieter moments before everything goes sideways. If you liked the supernatural faction politics and cultivation world of Mo Dao Zu Shi, or the way Thunderbolt Fantasy blends martial arts drama with something stranger and more theatrical, this sits in that same neighborhood. It's a 2026 ONA adapted from a web manga, so it's fresh territory — no spoilers floating around yet, no community consensus to bias you. Just a delivery guy, a door that shouldn't have opened, and a whole underworld waking up around him.
