📖 SYNOPSIS
"The Aquatope on White Sand" follows Kukuru Misakino, an 18-year-old working at an aquarium in Okinawa. Her life intersects with Fuuka Miyazawa, a former idol who has fled Tokyo and found refuge in the island setting. Together, they spend their days at the aquarium, each harboring their own aspirations and facing the realities of their lives. Their shared passion for the aquarium becomes a central focus as they navigate the complexities of their friendship. However, their cherished place of work is threatened with permanent closure. The series explores themes of dreams versus reality, the bonds of friendship, the experience of loneliness, and the conflicts that arise as they confront their uncertain futures. This summer promises a new chapter for Kukuru and Fuuka.
