馃摉 SYNOPSIS
"Anime Koukyoushi: Jungle Taitei" is a visual adaptation of Isao Tomita's symphonic poem, which was initially created to accompany the 1965 "Jungle Emperor" anime. The animation, produced in 1991, reverses the typical process by using visuals to tell the story of the music. The narrative, mirroring the first Kimba episode, unfolds without dialogue. It portrays the idyllic animal kingdom ruled by Panja, the intrusion of hunters, the capture of Eliza, and Panja's demise. The story then follows Kimba's birth and his eventual escape back to Africa. The animation style is distinct, drawing heavily from the 1989 TV series, but with a unique visual representation of Kimba.
