The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After getting summoned to a fantasy world as a Saint, thirtysomething caregiver Rin Takanashi is immediately thrown out like yesterday's trash because the kingdom decides she's useless. Which, honestly, works out fine for her. Turns out Rin is a hardcore camping enthusiast, and her hidden skill lets her summon a fully-equipped modern camper van right into the middle of a medieval fantasy landscape. So instead of wallowing in rejection, she basically turns her exile into the most ambitious glamping road trip imaginable. She picks up companions along the way, cooks elaborate meals using wild fantasy ingredients and real camping techniques, and navigates a world full of monsters while keeping her ridiculously overpowered modern conveniences under wraps. The whole thing has this warm, low-stakes energy where the tension comes less from world-ending threats and more from figuring out how to cook a monster steak on a portable grill. If you liked the cozy cooking isekai vibes of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, or the "underestimated saint" setup from The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, this is right in that lane — just with the road-trip comfort of Laid-Back Camp layered on top. There's a gentle romance brewing too, but mostly this is about a grown woman finally getting to relax after a lifetime of taking care of everyone else. It's the kind of show you watch when you want something genuinely peaceful.
