On the surface it's a colorful mahou shoujo romp with familiar spirits (a frog and a mouse), a cool mentor named Rockin' Robin, and a heart-collecting system that's genuinely clever — each heart is a different color depending on the emotion behind it. But underneath the whimsy, it's quietly exploring jealousy, self-worth, and what happens when friendship gets tangled up with competition. The art style comes from Moyoco Anno, and it has this distinctive gothic-meets-cute look that sets it apart visually from most magical girl shows.
