The character dynamics carry a lot of the early episodes, with each protagonist bringing a different worldview that clashes with the others before they start finding common ground. If you enjoyed the team-building tension of The King's Avatar or the way The Legend of Qin blends historical flavor with genre storytelling, this hits a similar nerve. The action sequences are genuinely well-animated, with the galaxy setting giving them room to go big. Based on a novel, so there's actual narrative structure underneath the spectacle.
