A chance meeting between two manga artists sets up the first of two short stories packed into this single OVA — and one of them is absolutely not what the other expected. Seiji is a shōnen artist who's been a fan of Sono Hanasaki's work for years. Meeting him in person, Seiji discovers Sono is a man a full decade older than him, which reshuffles everything he thought this encounter would be. The second story shifts gears entirely: Koji shows up to a pet-sitting job, expects to find a rabbit named Aki, and instead finds a young man bound in a closet. It goes places from there. Both stories are explicit — this is Boys Love hentai, so go in knowing that — but what holds them together is a genuine interest in the emotional texture of these situations, not just the physical. There's warmth in the first story and something more complicated and tense in the second. If you've watched something like Wild Rock or Koufuku no Jouken and wanted something with less restraint, this scratches that itch. Fans of Glamorous Lip will also find familiar territory here. It's adapted from Ashika Sakura's manga, and her character work translates reasonably well into the format. At one episode, it doesn't overstay its welcome. A quiet, emotional little OVA that happens to be very adult.
