馃摉 SYNOPSIS
The anime centers on the escalating tensions within the Sengoku era. Maeda Toshiie and his wife Matsu travel to Shikoku to deliver unreasonable demands from Oda Nobunaga to Chousokabe Motochika, the ruler of the island. Motochika, angered by Nobunaga's demands, refuses to comply and instead encourages Maeda to betray Nobunaga. Simultaneously, Maeda Keiji attempts to persuade Mouri Motonari to join the fight against Nobunaga, but his efforts lead to his imprisonment. As alliances crumble and new ones are forged, the narrative focuses on the impending conflict between Motochika and Motonari, highlighting the political maneuvering and betrayals that define the era. The story explores themes of loyalty, defiance, and the brutal realities of war.
