Secret Mission: Undercover Agents Never Back Down!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Posing as a married couple, two undercover agents move into an apartment complex — standard spy stuff, until the criminals next door start getting suspicious because the 'newlyweds' are being suspiciously quiet at night. That's the setup, and yes, it goes exactly where you think it does. Riko Ikazuchi is the senior agent, Noma is her junior partner, and the two of them have to figure out how to maintain their cover without blowing the operation. The tension between their professional dynamic and what the mission is now requiring them to do is genuinely what carries the story forward. It's not just scene after scene with no connective tissue — there's an actual undercover thriller framing holding it together. Rabbit Gate put real effort into the animation, and it shows in how the action and dramatic beats are handled, not just the explicit content. If you've watched something like Sprite: Between Two Worlds and appreciated when a hentai ONA actually tries to tell a coherent story around its content, this hits a similar note. Eight episodes give it enough room to develop the characters past their initial awkwardness. Don't go in expecting a full spy thriller — the erotic content is absolutely the focus — but the premise gives it more narrative grounding than most entries in the genre. If you want something with a plot reason behind the scenes rather than just a random setup, this is worth your time.
