📖 SYNOPSIS
"Sanpou Shoujo" follows 13-year-old Aki, whose exceptional arithmetic skills are discovered during a pilgrimage to Sensou-ji temple. Her talent attracts the attention of Arima Yoriyuki, the lord of the Kurume Domain, known for his mathematical prowess. He hires Aki to tutor the princess, alongside other gifted individuals. The anime centers on a math competition where Aki and other prodigies vie for a position and a wage. Aki's ultimate goal is to use her earnings to establish a school for underprivileged children, where she can share her love of arithmetic and provide them with an education. The story is based on a children's novel written by Endo Hiroko, inspired by a story from her father.
