Released in October 2019, Saenai Heroine no Sodetakata Fine stayed in the top ten at the Japanese box office for eight weeks and accumulated a total of US$6.46 million. The Blu-ray release of the movie coincided with Megumi Kato's birthday on September 23, 2020.
