📖 SYNOPSIS

Melos, a kind-hearted youth from Messina, travels to Syracuse to purchase a ceremonial sword for his sister's wedding. There, he befriends a talented sculptor, but is suddenly arrested by the paranoid king who fears betrayal. Accused unjustly and sentenced to death, Melos begs for three days to attend his sister’s wedding, offering to return afterward to face his fate. Though skeptical, the king agrees on the condition that Melos find someone willing to die in his place if he fails to return. The sculptor steps up, putting his life on the line for their newfound friendship. What follows is a powerful tale of trust, loyalty, and a race against time. As the deadline approaches, Melos is tested by fate, and the entire kingdom awaits to see if a man’s word can still hold meaning in a world ruled by fear.
