Romelia War Chronicle
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The Demon King is dead, the war is over, and Countess Romelia gets publicly dumped by her fiancé Prince Henri for being "useless." He's already moved on to his shiny new party of a saint, a sage, and a swordswoman. Classic. What Henri doesn't know is that Romelia has a hidden power called Grace — basically supernatural luck — and she's about to channel every ounce of it into proving him catastrophically wrong. Rather than wallowing in the humiliation, Romelia heads back to her homeland, which is still crawling with remnants of the Demon King's forces. The post-war cleanup nobody wanted to deal with? That's her problem now. But instead of just swinging a sword at it, she leans into strategy, governance, and rebuilding — turning a neglected territory into something worth defending. The vibe here is less revenge fantasy and more quiet defiance. Romelia isn't out to destroy her ex; she's out to build something better than anything he could offer. There's military strategy, political maneuvering, and a power system built around luck that keeps things unpredictable. If you liked The Rising of the Shield Hero's "abandoned hero proves everyone wrong" setup but want a female lead, or if Arslan Senki's blend of war tactics and nation-building hit the right notes for you, this sits in that same space. Fans of Yona of the Dawn will also recognize the energy of a noblewoman finding her strength after losing everything. Coming in 2026 from Studio Atra, adapted from the light novel.
