Pure Love

Hiro, a high school kid, stumbles across a mysterious book in the college library — one written in a language nobody can read. He drags his friend Puri into translating it, and they piece together an old legend about a hero, a magical cave, and some kind of hidden treasure buried somewhere in their quiet hometown. Meanwhile, a young woman named Flora is dealing with a genuinely strange problem: she sleepwalks and has no control over what happens during those episodes. Her situation sends a group of women on their own quest, searching for a legendary herb rumored to cure basically anything. Both storylines are heading toward the same place, and they inevitably collide. The setup has a classic adventure RPG feel to it — think mysterious ancient texts, ensemble casts with separate goals, and a small town hiding bigger secrets than it lets on. The erotic content is front and center, so if that's not your thing, this probably isn't for you. If you're already familiar with titles like Bible Black or Discipline: The Record of a Crusade, you have a decent sense of what territory this covers. It's a 2-episode OVA from 1998, adapted from a visual novel by Project Team Sarah, so it moves quickly and doesn't overstay its welcome. The adventure framing gives it a little more story scaffolding than most entries in the genre.
