Princess Connect! Michibiki no Hatsuhana: Fiore Storia
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Dropped into a fantasy world with zero memories, Yuuki isn't exactly working with a fresh setup, but the way this one handles it is genuinely charming. He's immediately paired with Kokkoro, a tiny, dead-serious guide who treats him like royalty despite him barely knowing how to function. Then there's Pecorine, a swordswoman who hits like a truck and eats like one too, and Karyl, a cat-eared mage who's clearly hiding something but keeps getting roped into the group's nonsense anyway. Together they form the Gourmet Guild — yes, their adventuring party is basically organized around food. This ONA from G-angle is a special episode tied to Priconne Fes 2025, adapted from the mobile game Princess Connect, and it leans hard into the comedic side of things. The character dynamics carry everything here. It's less about world-ending stakes and more about watching these four bounce off each other in a bright, well-animated fantasy setting. If you liked the laid-back adventure comedy vibe of KonoSuba but wanted something a little softer, or if Sword Art Online's VR game premise appeals to you minus the existential dread, this fits that niche pretty well. It's one episode, so the time investment is nothing. Worth checking out if you want something light and funny with surprisingly polished animation.
