📖 SYNOPSIS
"Platonic Chain" is set in a near-future world where videophones and constant wireless internet access are commonplace. A skilled hacker exploits a government oversight, breaching the national information archive and creating the Platonic Chain website. This site allows users to uncover information about themselves and their friends, quickly gaining popularity. The story follows three young girls: Hitomi, Rika, and Kanae, who coincidentally gain access to the Platonic Chain. The anime explores the implications of readily available personal information and the impact it has on the lives of these girls and their relationships in this technologically advanced society. The DVD release of Episode 16 features minor variations compared to the original broadcast.
