📖 SYNOPSIS

The Overlord Movie 1: Fushisha no Ou, recounts the events of the first seven episodes of the anime series. It centers around Momonga, also known as Ainz Ooal Gown, the supreme leader of the powerful guild Ainz Ooal Gown within the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) YGGDRASIL. When the game unexpectedly ends, Momonga finds himself unable to log out, trapped in the game world. He discovers that the non-player characters (NPCs) residing within his guild's massive base, the Great Tomb of Nazarick, have developed their own consciousness and free will. Using his knowledge of the game, his formidable magical powers, and the unquestioning loyalty of the NPCs, Ainz begins to build his power in this new world, eventually encountering villages, knights, warriors, other adventurers, and formidable magical creatures. He makes decisions that will shape his place in this new world. His actions influence both the lives of those he encounters and the destiny of the land itself. His journey is one of adapting to the unexpected, establishing his power, and seeking out any remaining players from his former guild.
