"Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" is set in a world fractured by a century-long conflict between the technologically advanced Empire and the mystical Nebulis Sovereignty. Iska, a skilled swordsman from the Empire, is dispatched on a mission to assassinate Aliceliese, known as the Ice Calamity Witch, a powerful mage from the Sovereignty. Their first encounter on the battlefield, however, leads to an unexpected connection. Despite their opposing allegiances and the expectations of their respective nations, they find themselves questioning the purpose of the war and developing feelings for each other.
