📖 SYNOPSIS
"Ni-hiki no Sanma" follows a man and woman who escape to a remote desert island, accompanied by chickens and a dog. They establish a simple life, farming, fishing, and enjoying grilled sanma. Their days are filled with routine and harmony. This idyllic existence is shattered by the arrival of a mustachioed scientist. He arrives on a raft propelled by an abused pig and introduces technology to the island. The scientist constructs a robot, initiating the process of industrialization. Though initially disgruntled by the changes, the couple decides to tolerate the scientist and his technological advancements, marking a shift in their once-peaceful island life. The anime explores themes of paradise, routine, and the impact of technology.
