📖 SYNOPSIS
There's no concert footage or backstage drama here — you just get to hang out with a high school band. That's basically the whole deal with MyGO!!!!! Member no Nichijou, a series of short episodes following the members of MyGO!!!!! — Tomori, Anon, Rāna, Soyo, and Taki — as they go about their daily lives in little comedic vignettes. There's no overarching plot to keep track of, no tension, no stakes. It's just five bandmates being weird and endearing together, and honestly sometimes that's exactly what you want.
This is a companion piece to the broader BanG Dream! franchise, so if you're already in that world, it's a nice low-effort way to spend more time with these characters. But even if you've never touched BanG Dream!, the shorts are light enough to enjoy on their own. Think of it like the chill side of K-On! — just the hangout scenes, distilled into bite-sized episodes you can watch on YouTube.
If you liked the between-songs downtime in Love Live! School Idol Project or the cozy band-room energy of K-On!, this scratches a similar itch. Studio Moriken keeps things simple and charming, letting the character dynamics do the work. It's comfort food anime, nothing more, nothing less — and that's perfectly fine.
