"My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission - Take-off" is an animated adaptation of the "Hawks: SOOTHE" one-shot. This short animation was originally included with the PLUS ULTRA version of the Boku no Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission Blu-ray/DVD release. The source material for the OVA comes from the "Vol. World Heroes" booklet distributed during the movie's theatrical run. Before its home release, the animation received a limited advance screening in Japanese theaters, running alongside the World Heroes' Mission movie.
