Monster Girl Quest
Oshimeter
Synopsis
An uneasy coexistence between humans and monster girls defines the world Luka is trying to be a hero in. His goal is straightforward enough — travel the land, grow stronger, eventually face the Monster Lord, and hopefully bring some kind of peace to both sides. What he doesn't account for is how complicated that mission gets when the monster girls he encounters aren't exactly villains, just... complicated. Each one has her own personality, her own agenda, and her own way of making Luka's journey more difficult than he planned. This is a 2-episode ONA adaptation of the Monster Girl Quest visual novel, so it covers the early stretch of Luka's adventure — the setup, the world, the first encounters. The fantasy adventure framing is genuine, but be clear about what this is: it's hentai, adapted from an adult eroge. The monster girl designs are creative and the world has actual lore behind it, but the content is explicitly mature. If you enjoyed the monster girl premise in Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou but wanted something with more of an RPG quest structure underneath it, this scratches a similar itch in a very different way. Fans of Monster Musume no Oisha-san who are curious about the darker, more explicit side of the genre will find familiar territory here. Two episodes isn't much, but for what it is, it delivers exactly what the source material promises — no more, no less.
