📖 SYNOPSIS

"Monkey Turn" follows Tadano Kenji, a young man whose aspirations of becoming a professional baseball player are dashed due to his height. His baseball coach suggests he try speedboat racing instead. Kenji unexpectedly reunites with his old girlfriend, and they make a pact: in exchange for her faithfulness, he vows to become Japan's best racer within three years. The anime is set in the world of professional speedboat racing. Kenji develops a special racing technique called the "Monkey Turn," which he devised while visiting his girlfriend. This maneuver gives him an edge over other racers, but the question remains whether it will be enough to propel him to the top of the sport.
