Mirage Queen Vacances Élégantes
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Queen's age, gender, and even nationality remain a complete mystery — this phantom thief is a total enigma. What people do know is that Queen pulls off impossible heists around the world from an airship called the Troubadour, with a partner named Joker and an AI called RD keeping things running. This movie kicks off when a corporate mogul named Satchmo Wilson publicly claims Queen sent a calling card threatening to steal the legendary Imperial Sapphire. Queen knows it's a setup — Satchmo has a personal grudge and is baiting them into a trap. So naturally, Queen and Joker disguise themselves and board Satchmo's ridiculously lavish cruise ship anyway, turning the whole thing into what they call an "elegant vacation." The vibe here is sophisticated heist thriller meets fantasy adventure, with this air of mystery wrapped around everything since you never fully know who Queen really is under all those layers. East Fish Studio adapted this from a novel, and the movie leans into that storybook quality — it feels like watching someone narrate a grand caper over cocktails. If you grew up on Lupin III or Magic Kaito 1412, this scratches a similar itch: charismatic thief, elaborate plans, cat-and-mouse tension with powerful adversaries. Fans of Kaitou Saint Tail might also appreciate it, though the tone is less magical girl and more globe-trotting espionage. It's a single movie, so there's zero commitment — just a clean, stylish heist story you can knock out in one sitting.
