π SYNOPSIS
"Mina" is an animated spin-off originating from the "Densha Otoko" television drama. The anime's namesake character, Mina, is a cutesy heroine with prominent features, including floppy rabbit ears and carrots protruding from her rear. This character is the object of affection for Yamada, the otaku protagonist of the original drama, portrayed by actor Itoh Atsushi. The anime itself serves as a character homage, drawing inspiration from the Daicon Animation produced by GAINAX, which featured a similar, nameless bunny girl. "Densha Otoko" further incorporated elements from the Daicon Animation, particularly in its opening sequences, connecting the two works visually.
