Based on the graphic novel, "Mermaid Forest" follows Yuta and Mana as they become entangled with the Kannagi family. The story centers around the titular Mermaid Forest, where only two members of the Kannagi clan remain: an elderly woman and a young girl with strikingly white hair. The series delves into the secrets of these two women and the mysteries surrounding the Mermaid Forest itself. Yuta's quest for normalcy leads him to believe a mermaid, buried somewhere in the hills, may hold the answer to his condition.
