MegaMan NT Warrior: Axess

Already a solid team in a world where the internet is basically a second reality people live inside daily, Netto Hikari and his NetNavi Rockman get their dynamic completely upended when Netto's scientist dad invents something called synchro chips, which let an operator and their Navi physically merge and fight in the real world. Not just online — actually in the real world. The catch is that it puts brutal strain on whoever attempts it, and the first test doesn't go well.
