📖 SYNOPSIS

Akito, a young man who dreams of cooking, is thrust into a war he never wanted. His home on Mars is destroyed, and he's mysteriously transported to Earth. Seeking answers, he follows Yurika, captain of the battleship Nadesico, and becomes their cook. Despite his preference for cooking, Akito possesses nanite implants that allow him to pilot mechas, making him a valuable asset. The Nadesico's crew, a collection of misfits, otakus, and seemingly ditzy individuals who are actually handpicked experts, are on a mission to avenge Mars. As they journey back to Mars, they confront the reality that their war may not be as straightforward as the giant mecha series Akito grew up watching. The series explores themes of war, identity, and the contrast between fiction and reality.
