Marriage Blue: "Konyakusha ga Iru no ni, Doushite Konna Otoko ni......"
Oshimeter
Synopsis
With their wedding day approaching fast, Masaharu and Sayaka are deep into the final stretch of preparations — venues, fittings, the whole thing. Helping them out are Masaharu's sister Misato and her boyfriend Ryuuji, old college friends who've been around the couple forever. It should be a warm, low-stakes time. Then Ryuuji sees Sayaka in her wedding dress, and something shifts in him. When Masaharu gets pulled away by work and misses a planning meeting, Ryuuji finds himself alone with the bride-to-be. That's where things get complicated. This single-episode OVA from Rabbit Gate leans hard into the emotional messiness of temptation and betrayal — specifically the kind that happens between people who are supposed to trust each other completely. It's not a comfortable watch, and it's not trying to be. The drama is the whole point. The character expressions are rendered with real care, and the tone stays grounded rather than cartoonish, which gives the tension some actual weight. If you've watched Netorare Zuma or Toriko no Kusari and found yourself drawn to that specific brand of slow-burn moral unraveling, this sits in the same space. Fans of Kimi no Na wo Yobeba will recognize the emotional stakes, even if the execution here is more explicit. It's a single episode adapted from a visual novel, so it moves quickly, but the setup is enough to make the central conflict feel genuinely uncomfortable in the way it intends to.
