Mail Order Maiden 28
Oshimeter
Synopsis
At his prep school, Aiwa has one thing on his mind: Kozue, the girl from his class he can't stop thinking about. He's working up the nerve to actually do something about it when a package shows up at his door — a mail order he placed months ago and completely forgot about. Inside is a cute android girl who looks suspiciously like someone from his dreams and is programmed to do whatever he wants. Now he's stuck juggling his real feelings for Kozue against the convenience of having a robot companion at home, and predictably, nothing goes smoothly. A mysterious blonde woman also shows up claiming to be his girlfriend, which only adds to the chaos. The whole thing plays out over a single OVA episode, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. The character designs are by U-jin, whose distinctive style gives the whole thing a specific late-90s look that fans of that era tend to appreciate. It's a light mix of comedy and adult content — think less serious drama, more awkward situations spiraling out of control. If you've watched something like Shin Angel or Juliet and wanted more of that early hentai OVA energy with a comedic twist, this fits that space. Fans of Kojin Jugyou who like their adult content wrapped in a goofier premise might also find it familiar territory. It's a short, self-contained watch that knows exactly what it is.
