馃摉 SYNOPSIS
Lord El-Melloi II, head of the Modern Magecraft Theories department and a Lord of the Clock Tower, delivers a lecture to his students. Following a meeting with other nobility, he criticizes their focus on internal power struggles, leading to a retaliatory curse. The next day, while traveling with his apprentice Gray, he discovers a cat, a frequent visitor to his room, has been run over.
Realizing this was an attempt on his own life, Lord El-Melloi II, along with Gray, Flat, and Svin, begins an investigation to uncover the culprit behind the assassination attempt. The story focuses on the investigation within the world of magecraft, the relationships between the characters, and the dangers of the Clock Tower's political landscape.
