Azalea, living on the Colony-Planet of Dinahl, suffers from amnesia, only to be roused by a voice calling her name. Another voice directs her to a park atop a skyscraper, where she encounters others similarly afflicted with memory loss. Eno wields psychic power, Umoth has x-ray vision, Neia can teleport, Azalea is telepathic, and Locke commands electrical wizardry.
United by their shared amnesia and superhuman capabilities, they are left to ponder the identity of the voice that summoned them and the purpose behind their gathering.
