Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right
📖 SYNOPSIS
Meet Luna Ishikawa: a vampire transfer student who radiates cool, mysterious energy — the kind of girl every classmate instantly puts on a pedestal. Tatsuta Ootori, a thoroughly average guy, figures she's way out of his orbit. Then they get paired for cleaning duty and he finds out her embarrassing secret: she's a vampire who can't actually suck blood properly. Like, at all. So naturally, Tatsuta volunteers to be her practice partner, which is how an unremarkable high schooler ends up letting a beautiful vampire repeatedly fail to bite his neck after class. This 12-episode TV series from Studio feel. is set in Kashinokidai, a city where humans and supernatural beings just kind of live together, which the show treats as background normal rather than some big dramatic thing. The real focus is the comedy between Luna's composed facade and her total inability to do the one thing vampires are supposed to do, plus the awkward dynamic that develops between her and Tatsuta as they spend more time together. It's got that cozy school slice-of-life rhythm with a supernatural twist — if you liked the monster-girl-in-everyday-life vibe of Demi-chan wa Kataritai or the gap comedy of a supernatural being who's bad at their job like in Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu, this hits a similar spot. Fans of Gabriel DropOut's "celestial being who doesn't live up to expectations" energy will probably feel right at home too. Light, funny, and pretty easy to watch.
