"Kyousougiga" plunges viewers into the fantastical Mirror Capital Kyoto, a world trapped within a painting, where life is beautiful but unchanging. This serenity is shattered by the arrival of Koto, a spirited girl searching for her absent mother. Her quest leads her to a peculiar family: a father with enigmatic abilities, a mother who is a goddess, and siblings locked in a fierce competition.
As Koto navigates this eccentric family dynamic, she uncovers secrets about her mother's disappearance and the true nature of their world. The family's actions, however, begin to draw the attention of the Shrine, an organization tasked with safeguarding the multiverse. The series explores themes of family, identity, and the disruption of the status quo, all set against the backdrop of a visually stunning and creatively imagined world.
