📖 SYNOPSIS

In a desolate world shrouded by a vast expanse of red fog, a small group of young girls with strange and inexplicable powers fight to survive. At the heart of this barren land stands a massive tree that has grown through an old railcar, symbolizing the last remnants of life in a dying world. The girls, along with their strange and wondrous tree, cling to survival, struggling day by day to find the resources they need to stay alive. However, their monotonous routine is suddenly disrupted when a boy named Wakaba appears. He has no memory beyond his own name, and his sudden arrival sparks the beginning of an uncertain and perilous journey. Together with Wakaba, the girls set out on a dangerous quest across a harsh landscape, navigating seas of burning red fog in search of the last reservoirs of water. The islands ahead are fraught with peril, as they are teeming with robotic bugs that stand in their way. Despite the odds, the group remains determined, their fate hanging on their strength and Wakaba’s mysterious ability to understand the Kemurikusa—glowing leaves with mystical powers that may hold the key to their survival. The Kemurikusa are one of the last living entities in this forsaken land, and they may hold the answers to the many questions that haunt Wakaba and the girls. What happened to the world? Why are there so many empty buildings with no one left to inhabit them? These unanswered questions remain as they journey toward the unknown, hoping to find a place where they can finally live peacefully.
